You can either shop online, where you have infinitely more options or you can go to stores such as Goodwill or to thrift markets and see if you can find a decent looking and most important, cheap reception desk.
If a company near you is remodeling and they are throwing away all their furniture, see if you can find out where they are taking it. You just have to have a keen eye and to search more if you want to have something that looks good but also has an affordable price tag.
